This was a beautiful site to work on as the clients home backed up to a green space and was very private. We wanted to keep the feel of privacy but also create areas in the landscape to invite you further into the landscape to fully enjoy the beauty of this space.

We started by installing the sprinkler system then preparing the site for the hardscaping.

We decided to create a private sitting area away from the main deck of the back yard. This would allow us to install meandering pathways through the landscape over to the dry set flagstone sitting area.

The next step was installing a water feature behind the private sitting area. After installing some stone stairs, we installed other boulder settings using Columbia River Basalt stone. The final touch was the planting which tied in wonderfully with the green space giving the client a personal private natural paradise of there very own.
