Dethatching
Dethatching is the process of removing dead buildup such as leaves or grass clippings that have not or are slow to decompose. This layer of material usually exists between the grass root system and the top layer of your lawn. If excessive thatch is not removed from the lawn it can prevent the proper amount of oxygen and nutrients from getting to the root system, killing the lawn.
